Paul Maxwell brings decades of paramedic experience in San Diego County, including clinical coordination, field training, and program leadership. He helped establish the Nicholas Rosecrans Award and has long championed the role of EMS in preventing injury and illness.

Paul’s prevention work grew from firsthand experience responding to emergencies. He helps connect that experience with community action and shares the lessons of EMS prevention with organizations seeking to develop their own partnerships.
