A practical foundation for partnership

EMS organizations have valuable information about the communities they serve. Turning that information into a public health partnership can take time, coordination, and tools that are not always easy to access.

The California Paramedic Foundation is developing the registry to reduce that burden. It is designed to help organizations organize EMS information around shared priorities, define evaluation criteria, and review metrics in one place.

Start with a question that matters

A partnership begins with a community priority. EMS and public health teams can agree on the question they want to understand, identify the information relevant to that question, and decide how to evaluate their work.

The registry supports topics, evaluation criteria, and metrics so organizations can structure that process and review results over time. Its purpose is to make public health work more approachable within everyday EMS operations.

Connected to the Nicholas Rosecrans Project

The Nicholas Rosecrans Project recognizes the people and programs bringing EMS into prevention. The registry complements that work with tools to help organizations explore priorities and evaluate their own efforts.
