A paramedic-founded and paramedic-driven organization working on EMS in California.
We connect EMS organizations and public health partners through the Nicholas Rosecrans Project and our new registry. The project recognizes EMS prevention and shares experience. The registry is designed to make it easier to organize information and evaluate that work within everyday EMS operations.
Paramedics are already an immense value in their communities, and yet there are many ways that their service can be expanded and improved by powerful programming. We support paramedics, because better paramedicine means a better world.

Get InvolvedThe California Paramedic Foundation brings together a history of EMS collaboration and community prevention. The San Diego County Paramedic Association and EPIC Medics helped establish a shared commitment to the role of paramedics in community health.
After Nicholas Rosecrans drowned in 1996, paramedics worked with his mother, Lynn Artz, to promote prevention and recognize EMS teams helping communities avoid injury and illness. That commitment continues through the Nicholas Rosecrans Project.
Our registry complements this work with tools designed to make public health partnership more accessible to EMS organizations.
These efforts share one purpose: making prevention a practical part of how EMS serves its community.
